Safety Guidelines

Practical safety guidance for drivers and passengers including emergencies and reporting.

Last updated: 29 October 2026
Immediate danger? Contact emergency services first. In India the emergency response number is 112. In-app SOS, reporting and emergency-contact features supplement—but do not replace—emergency assistance.

1. Before you travel

2. For drivers

3. For passengers

4. Prohibited conduct

Intoxicated driving, harassment, unwanted contact, discrimination, stalking, threats, violence, fraud, theft, trafficking, unlawful transport, illegal goods and unsafe driving are prohibited.

5. Emergencies, accidents and breakdowns

Prioritise safety and move away from immediate danger where possible. Call 112 or appropriate emergency responders when necessary, notify a trusted person, and report an incident to the platform when safe to do so. Do not rely exclusively on in-app notifications for emergency assistance.

6. KYC and trust

Verification and ratings may help users make informed decisions but never guarantee the identity, conduct, legal compliance or safety of any participant. Exercise independent judgement.

7. Reporting issues

Use the app's report/support feature or email wagadconnect@gmail.com. Include relevant ride details when possible, but avoid emailing unnecessary sensitive documents.
